Uterine fibroids
My mother has few uterine fibroids in the myometrium posterior wall with the largest measuring 58*52 mm. Ultrasound was done on the 13th day of the cycle and her endometrial thickness was 5mm. Her pap smear was "negative for any intraepithelial lesion or malignancy". She had biopsy done and this is the report. Can somebody please tell me if there is anything wrong. I'm so anxious and I don't understand what the report means. Please help. I have lost my appetite worrying if there is any kind of cancer. Please reply.

You didn't mention her age and her symptoms. Did she attain her menopause and then have bleeding after a gap of a year or so? Or was it excessive bleeding during periods which prompted her to have a D&C ? Please consult with a Gynaecologist with all the information so that proper treatment can be planned.

Disordered Proliferative Endometrium mean unusual growth of endometrial cells or abnormal thickening of the endometrium. Can't term it as cancer but further evaluation would be required. Usually Fibroids doesn't cause any problems but in case of pain or bleeding consult Gynaecologist at the earliest. FYI: Endometrium is the lining of the uterus .
Next Steps
Consult Gynaecologist for further evaluation
