USG Report - Abdomen & Pelvis
Hi, I need analysis of USG Report. It says: 1. Right Kidney- Calculi are noted, upper pole calculus measuring 5-6 mm and lower pole calculus measuring 3-4 mm 2. Left kidney- Microlith noted measuring 3-4 mm in upper pole. 3. Right Ovary - it shows small cysts arranged peripherally measuring 5-6 mm Impression : Right renal Calculi Left renal microlith Polycystic right Ovary. Please let me know if anything is serious. Medication will be needed or water will help to get rid of stones. Thanks

As the stones are non obstructive, it need not be treated actively. All you need to remember is that when the stone falls down into the ureter, it may cause acute pain, you may have to see the Urologist nearby. Try to drink more fluids per day. Avoid excess of salt and protein in diet. You can take one of the potassium magnesium citrate preparations available in the market. Syrup.
