Use of Acitretin 25 mg
Hello doctor Recently I got hand psoriasis after shifting to Bangalore and using water here ( hard water) I consulted a dermatologist 15 days ago, he prescribed me Tretmed 25mg (Acitretin) for a month. But recently I'm getting side effects like dry lips , face skin got glowing and sensitive and body itching. I recently read that if we take Acitretin, we can't plan pregnancy for 3 years, is it correct and what can be done now regarding that... I got married recently and doctor just informed me that I have to stop the medicine 2-3 months before planning pregnancy and generally it's better to wait for 6 months to wash off the medicine effect but he didn't mention about 3 years delay even after asking him multiple times. Please guide me 🙏🏻
