Itchy Rashes on skin since 2 months. Consulted doctor on practo and she prescribed me an lotion, soap and tablet for 2 weeks. I got relief when I used them. After the course completed I stopped using the medication but this allergy relapsed. For every 2 days I need to take l-mont tablet to get relief from itching.
Can anyone suggest complete cure for this condition. Comparitively severity is less but I feel itchy the third day if I don't take medication.

I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with recurring itching and rashes. It sounds like your skin condition responds to treatment but flares up once you stop the medication. This is quite common with skin allergies and rashes, especially if the underlying cause is still present or if your skin is particularly sensitive.
First, itâs important to understand that many skin allergies can take time to fully settle down, even with treatment. Sometimes, medications help reduce symptoms but donât completely clear the underlying inflammation, which can make it come back once you stop the medication. Often, a longer or maintenance course of treatment may be needed to fully control the symptoms.
Iâd suggest focusing on identifying possible triggers in your environment, as recurring skin allergies are often triggered by things we come in contact with every day. This could be certain soaps, detergents, fabrics, or even environmental allergens. Consider switching to a gentle, fragrance-free soap and a mild, hypoallergenic moisturizer. These simple changes can help reduce irritation and prevent future flare-ups.
Another aspect to consider is long-term management. You may benefit from a low-dose, regular antihistamine under the guidance of a dermatologist. This can sometimes help reduce itching without relying on frequent medication. Also, if a flare-up occurs, it may be helpful to use a gentle, medicated lotion or cream to soothe your skin.
Finally, if the rashes keep coming back, you might need further blood tests, and a patch test, to identify specific allergens. These tests can provide insight into any triggers and help guide your treatment.
