If you have persistent symptoms inspite of taking tablets regularly, then they may not work anymore. Get an assessment of lower urinary tract with Uroflowmetry and post void residual urine assessment, if the results are not good, then it's time for TURP - Prostate surgery. Sometimes you need urodynamics additionally in case you have features of neuropathy as well.
