Passing urine during sleep is common and with increasing age every year 10 % of children outgrow their symptoms. If the child has been passing urine since a long time and you do not remember a period as long as one month during which he did not pass urine at night then this is primary nocturnal enuresis and if there is a history in any of the parents of similar problem then this will be sorted out. Now if child has been asymptomatic for one month or: he has not passed urine at night in bed for one month without medicines. And is having the problem now then this is secondary nocturnal enuresis.and needs to be investigated.
Next Steps
get ultrasound KUB urine routine and culture blood sugar check and treat constipation decrease sugar in diet decrease fluid consumption and tea coffee and milk after 6 pm
