Urine Ketones (Acetone)
Hi All, my son has been suffering from fever for the last 4 days. Shown to a pediatrician but fever was not reduced. Took blood and urine test. The doctor told me just to give good food and no other medications provided. I am still nervous by seeing the report as there are so many issues in the blood and urine Ketones. I'm so worried. Someone please clarify for me. Thanks, Sathya

Urine ketone suggest dehydration so child needs to take more liquids More liquids means less dehydration and this less fever So encourage more liquids.
