Hi, Your mother is more likely to get urine infection because of her diabetes. It can be a fresh infection or inadequately treated previous infection only. Its better if she gets sonography of her abdomen done so as to rule out other causes for repeated infection viz. Kidney stones. I hope it helps. Regards, Dr. Sagar Vijay Kajbaje. Consultant Diabetologist. Thane, Maharashtra.
Next Steps
Consult a diabetologist for control of her blood sugars to optimum. She needs to take antibiotics along with other medicines.
Health Tips
1) Take plenty of water. 2) Wash ur private parts properly after passing urine.
