Ureter collapsed
In sonography of mother left kidney ureter collapsed--can not be traced. She has 7x4mm left kidney stone. what is the meaning of ureter collapsed. Please advise treatment

Ultrasound is not a very good test to look at the ureters .. so it does not necessarily mean anything is wrong with the ureters .. but kidney stone has to be taken care of based on the location , size , symptoms , whether it is causing any obstruction to the urinary flow.
