Upper body fever
Hello, My 13 months old son has been having a fever in his upper body only ... his legs and hands are normal temperature/cold. He has been very sleepy and fussy. He has loss of appetite too. I’m concerned that this would be meningitis.

Meningitis is clinical diagnosis. If you are worried about it consult your pediatrician. He will clear your doubt. Always measure temperature by thermometer in arm pit. Normal body temperature is less than 99.5°F.
