Sir, Size of my right Pupil is bigger than left one. I did MRI which is normal and Consulted neuro Opthalmologist and she said nothing to worry. 1) My Question is does this bigger pupil size result in inaccurate focusing of light rays on retina whcih results in blurr image, Hazy vision and lot of light sensitivity? 2) is there any treatment to reduce this large pupil to normal size & by doing this will I able to see things clearly from right eye? 3) wil cataract surgery help anyway reducePupil

Hello
A. Pupil keeps on changing size depending on light exposure...
In case of very large size.. When Pupil is exposed to bright light then photophobia develops.
B . You may use Pilocarpine eyedrop to decrease pupil size but it has its own set of problems
Moreover blurred vision could be due to refractive error
Kindly consult local ophthalmologist and get proper eye examination done
C. Cataract surgery has no relation with pupil size and it does not decrease pupil size
