Under eye dark circles and fatigue
Im facing alot of fatigue with under eye dark circles and saggy eyes a bit. Sometimes I get seasonal migraine and ache near my eyes too.At night time I also get muscle pain in legs. It all happened after the treatment of TB and after recovery i had pregnancy too. Could it be due to medicines or post delivery symptoms only?

Your symptoms . are likely due to meds, as well as pregnancy and breast feeding. Get complete blood countthyroid function tests,  serum vit b12, d3, calcium done and share results. For dark circles below eyes , Apply slice of cucumber or potato below eyes for few minutes, 2 to 3 times daily. For leg pain, take shelcal m tablet, one morning and one evening for 4 weeks.  Tab evion 400mg one morning and one evening for 4 weeks. Soak legs in warm water for few minutes, 2 to 3 times daily. Physiotherapy will also help. Avoid wearing high heeled shoes, preferably wear closed, comfortable shoes.

Based on your history, your symptoms are very likely multifactorial, not due to just one cause. The combination of past TB treatment + pregnancy/post-delivery changes can commonly lead to what you’re experiencing now. Key contributing factors likely include: • Post-TB nutritional depletion (iron, B12, vitamin D, magnesium deficiencies are common after long TB regimens) • Post-pregnancy hormonal shifts → fatigue, dark circles, migraine tendency • Sleep debt and stress (very common after pregnancy) • Muscle aches at night often point toward vitamin D / magnesium deficiency rather than nerve disease • Seasonal migraines and eye pain also worsen when iron/B12 levels are low This does not sound dangerous, but it does sound unaddressed and incomplete recovery, which is why symptoms persist.
Next Steps
I would strongly recommend a targeted blood work-up rather than random medicines: • CBC with peripheral smear • Serum ferritin (iron stores) • Vitamin B12Vitamin D (25-OH) • TSH (post-pregnancy thyroid issues are common) • Serum magnesium (if available) Treatment should then focus on correcting deficiencies, not just painkillers or migraine tablets. Most patients improve significantly once deficiencies are properly corrected.
Health Tips
• Prioritize sleep quality over duration • Increase protein intake (eggs, curd, dal, paneer, nuts) • Stay well hydrated • Gentle evening stretching helps night leg pain • Avoid skipping meals—this worsens migraines ⸻ Your symptoms are understandable given what your body has been through, and they are very treatable with the right plan. If you’d like, we can go through your history and reports together in an online consultation and design a step-by-step recovery strategy tailored just for you.

These symptoms can happen due to low energy levels, vitamin deficiency, stress, or body changes after illness and pregnancy, and are usually manageable. Try good sleep, regular meals, hydration, and gentle stretching for leg pain.

Possible causes Most likely reason is body depletion after tuberculosis illness and pregnancy. Both conditions commonly lead to iron deficiency vitamin B12 deficiency vitamin D deficiency and general nutritional weakness. Hormonal changes after delivery sleep disturbance and physical stress also contribute. Migraine episodes may be triggered by fatigue dehydration or micronutrient deficiency. Night leg pain can occur due to calcium vitamin D or magnesium deficiency. Recommended tests Complete blood count Serum ferritin and iron profile Vitamin B12 level Vitamin D3 level Thyroid function test Serum calcium Management advice Take adequate sleep and rest daily. Maintain good hydration. Consume high protein diet including pulses eggs milk curd paneer nuts and seeds. Include green leafy vegetables fruits and whole grains regularly. Sunlight exposure for 15 to 20 minutes daily is beneficial. Gentle stretching of legs before sleep can reduce muscle pain. Medicines if required Paracetamol can be taken for headache when needed. After reports doctor may advise iron folic acid supplements vitamin B12 and vitamin D with calcium. Magnesium supplementation may help in leg pain if deficiency is present. When to consult doctor If fatigue is severe or persistent If migraines become frequent or severe If there is dizziness breathlessness or palpitations If leg pain worsens or weakness develops If symptoms do not improve after nutrition and rest .For further guidance or personalized treatment, you can consult me online anytime.
