My 90 year old grandma says she is not crying deliberately & even she can't understand why she is crying. She is schizophrenic.
What to do in such situations? How to calm her? Or would it be better to let her emotions out? But what if it happens very often?

Most likely at this age she must have dementia along with schizophrenia superimposed by delirium. Do her all baseline investigation and consult Psychiatrist for best management.
