Umbilical hernia

Asked for Female, 31 Years

I have an umbilical hernia of 5 mm .is it a serious issue.do I need to go for surgery.can I do small abdominal exercises? if I lift my baby of 15 months old will the hernia increase?will the hernia close it by its own with exercises?

U need to consult a surgeon for that.. You cn go for laproscopic closure also. However a surgeon opinion is needed not a gynaecologist opinion
