At how many weeks is first scan usually done in pregnancy? I have been asked to do a scan at 6-7 weeks by my doctor. Is it too early? What can be the reason?

Hello U should get a scan done around 6/7 weeks and it's not too early This helps to confirm diagnosis See the fetal cardiac activity Location of gestation sac Yr whole preg baby growth will be determined as per this USG report. Yr expected date of delivery will be determined by this scan Any many other things So go ahead for the scan Stay calm N enjoy the pregnancy
