7 months back i had done an usg abdomen, it had shown a 2.9mm gallbladder polyp.
I was asked to redo ultrasound after 6-7 mnths, today i did ultrasound at a different facility though, i told the radiologist the a gb polyp was discovered last time..
He said this time nothing seems to be there in your gbladder and it's perfectly normal...
Does that mean that it has regressed?
Or that it was a mistake in machine last time?
Or could it be a gallstone which got dissolved?
Or did this latest ultrasound miss something?
And do I need to repeat usg again after 6 months or leave it be?
Please guide me with above questions,
Thank you.

Be happy girl see nothing came out.... Take a chill pill now.
Treat yourself with your favourite cousin today partyyyyyy haha.
See i will tell you..... Gallbladder polyps are diagnosed accidentally they are normally benign in nature.
So if you had also then there is nothing much to worry.
Repeat the ultrasound after an year.
Have a healthy diet.
Keep your self hydrated.
Stop taking unnecessary stress.
Stay happy.
It might not have been a mistake. The polyp might have been there but it has regressed and become invisible. Polyps from mucous membranes have a tendency to regress.
Was the usg done 1st time a routine check, or did you have any symptoms?
Usg depends on the hand and knowledge by the doctor.
So presently if no symptoms, nothing to be done.
