Ulcerative colitis
I am suffering with ulcerative colitis,now I am taking medical OD twice a day.Please give me a advice to control attacks,it happens once in a month or two months.

Ulcerative colitis is a long term condition and requires regular follow up and adjustment of medications as required. If you are still getting attacks on mesacol, you may need to go on immunomodulators such as Azathioprine or so. But this medication has to be started by a specialist Gastroenterologist and also requires regular monitoring
