Today I am positive for typhoid. My baby is 4months old. I am only taking care of her. Is there any chances that I will pass the bacteria to my baby. How to prevent. I am not breastfeeding her.

Maintain proper hygiene . Report to doctor if u see symptoms

If it is confirmed typhoid or enteric fever make sure you keep your hands clean before touching baby. Good hand hygeine prevents spread of disease
