Im a type 1.5 Diabetic and have not had to use insulin for about 5 days. I have just been diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome and am wondering if the lack of need for insulin is temporary.

Insulin requirements may go down during honeymoon phase and if the patient develops other complications like renal or hepatic failure or hypothyroidism. A detailed history would be needed.
