Is there any swelling also. Are you able to stand or walk by self.

I thinking pain is severe, you should get x ray of ankle joint. Also, you can apply crepe bandage over ankle, start with ice fomentation, take analgesic with anti inflammatory tablet, keep the limb elevated over pillow, avoid weight bearing..
