I have been diagnosed with tuberculosis..I have been quarantined and will start medication..But the doctor has gone on holiday and I have no one to ask my questions...I know they will test if I am non contagious after two weeks if I am not they will release me...I want to know if I can resume my activities - work exercise after I am released and the symptoms have disappeared but still while on the medication...

Hi there, Do not be worried. It completely depends on which body organ is involved. Mostly in chest tuberculosis the risk of spreading the infection is high. If it has affected any other body organ then it is least like that you can spread this disease. It is very easily curable by medicine. But a complete, unmissed course is a must to comply. You can resume your daily activities with no hesitation once you are under medication. I hope i have cleared all your queries.
