Trying to conceive - Query 2
Thanks Dr Vijaya Gupta for answering my earlier query related to LH kit gave positive result on day 30th of menstruation cycle. Yes both the lines are clearly equally positive in LH kit on day 30. But when checked in pregnancy kit it came negative. I had ovulated on day 20 (as per follicular study). So what does it mean? Why LH kit gave positive on day 30? Is LH kit more sensitive than Pregnancy kit so detected very less HCG in urine?

Lh kits are not  confirmatory of ovulation. For detecting pregnancy lh kits are not used. Pregnancy can only be confirmed by UPT or a beta HCG to be done once periods are missed

LH kit is not 100% sensitive it can give you false values the best way to monitor ovulation would be an ultrasound called follicular monitoring To check for pregnancy you need beta HCG values not the LH values
