Hello, Most common reason for such activity is an increasing sense of tension which is resolved by pulling out hair and thus achieving a sense of relief. So the treatment involves both psychiatrist and dermatologist. Medication will help in resolving the tension and stress as well as recover from the loss that has already occurred.
