Hi, first of all to avoid swelling if she has any get the sticking from foot to thigh to all fluid to drain
Secondly ask her to mover her ankle up and down in full range ever 15 mins
Thirdly keep her leg elevated whenever she is sitting or resting and no position either sitting or standing allowed for more than 15-20 mins at a stretch
She need to change her position or take a walk every 20 mins- 30 mins
