Calcium deficiency and varicose veins
Good evening, Doctor. My father is 61 years old and has a post-lunch blood sugar level of 218 mg/dL. He has been experiencing chronic ankle pain for the past few years, but today morning he developed sudden severe knee joint pain. We consulted a doctor who advised an X-ray of the leg and a venous Doppler scan to rule out varicose veins. He follows a disciplined lifestyle — sleeps before 10 PM, wakes up around 5 AM, and stays quite active, including regular walking. The doctor has suggested wearing compression stockings and prescribed calcium tablets for bone support. I’ve attached the reports below. Kindly review them and share your advice or suggestions. Thank you.
