Treatment for conception
I am currently undergoing ovulation induction. My first cycle is completed. But no success. I have 1 child. Doctor said if conception is not happened in 3 ovulation induction cycle, then will go for laparoscopy. When I asked for HSG instead of laparoscopy, she said HSG is not good. I felt Laparoscopy is bit aggressive approach. Because she is asking for laparoscopy just after 7 months of try (4 months naturally + 3 months ovulation induction). Could you please suggest if her approach is correct or it is really aggressive approach to do it this soon? Please help me in this. I am really worried for this. Thank You.

If you feel that way, you can change your doctor. But do know, every doctor has a treatment protocol for diseases. Maybe she feels laproscopy will give better results. If you are doubting her ways, talk to her directly.

This question should not be answered by any Doctor. This is your perception that laparoscopy is an aggressive approach. Laparoscopy and HSG have their plus and minus points. You will find doctors who prefer Laparoscopy. You will also find doctors who prefer HSG. If you have reservations about any procedure which has been advised for you, you can always change your Doctor. But don't conduct an opinion poll against your Doctor.
