I have an ukcer on rt side of tongue since last one month and its not healing. It has been paining a lot. I am 68 year old male. This ulcer has been reoccurring at the same spot since more than 2 years. I did biopsy in March this year. Result said hypertrophied and hyperkeratotic squamous epithelium with small ulcer. Dentist didn't say much.

Hello,
Welcom to practo
Traumatic recurrent ulcers are because of the sharp tooth edge.
If it is traumatic do the enameloplasty for the same it will disappear of its own.
If it is two years old and non healing please repeat the biopsy.
Recurrent non healing ulcers can be dangerous too.
Please provide your feedback
