Definitely no transplant of tooth is possible from different donor or person as your tooth blood supply will be lost as it is having very small root opening at the tip, it is impossible to restore vitality by additional blood suply if any..  which is possible in other cases like kidney or liver. So cleat answer is No. Yes may remove your own tooth and place it in different socket but it will be highly technique sensitive and may lead to failure or poor prognosis. so better go for conventional options like denture or bridge or advanced one as dental implants. We hope it cleared your doubts.

Hello, When a tooth has been extracted, it looses it's pulpal blood supply and transplanting it in another recipient is not advisable because of this reason as the main aim of transplant is it restore the blood supply as in kidney and liver. Though, yes there are procedures where autotransplantation is done for example - if canine is in another site and we can extract and place it in its desired location, but it will not regain its blood supply and only act as any root canal treated tooth. Hence, it's a better option to place an implant rather than taking a tooth from another person.

1. Tooth transplantation from one person to another is not possible because unlike organs, teeth are not capable of regeneration and integration with the recipient's existing tooth structure and surrounding tissues. Additionally, there are significant differences in the anatomy, biology, and function of teeth compared to other organs. 2. Tooth transplantation within one's own mouth is technically possible, but it is referred to as "tooth autotransplantation" and is a complex and challenging procedure that is not always successful. This procedure involves removing a tooth from one location in the mouth and transplanting it to another location, typically with the goal of replacing a missing or damaged tooth. The success of the procedure depends on many factors, including the health of the surrounding tissues and the proper preservation of the root structure and periodontal ligament
