Only issue in getting dental treatment done during pregnancy is exposure to x-rays, so if you have pain you can undergo treatment only with clinical diagnosis. Also you can ask the dentist to just clean up the cavity and put some medicament, the procedure should be done as much as you can accept. Medication should be taken as per your gynaec.

Hello, Mam,getting dental treatment done is relatively safe in the second trimester of pregnancy. However you need to consult your gynaecologist regarding the medications that could be taken and get a fitness certificate before taking any dental treatment. Regards Dr Sumanmakam

Hi, its safe to do the dental procedures during 4th month of pregnancy. Taking drugs can relieve ur tooth pain temporarily. Its better to visit a dentist for a permanent solution.

Between 3 and 6 months of pregnancy Dental treatment can be done. It's better to get treatment done rather depending only on medications.
