Babies have a tendency to swallow toothpaste instead of spitting. So there are some ingredients from adult toothpaste that we would like to avoid, like
1.sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)
2.essential oils
3.harsh, abrasive ingredients

any toothpaste is fine. if your baby doesn't like the taste of your toothpaste, then you can try Chicco flavoured toothpastes. It's available on amazon.
Any kids tooth paste is alright.
