My son is 1 year old and he has got 6 teeth i want to start brushing his teeth however unable to understand how to use toothpaste as he will not be able to spit so how should i clean tooth paste from his teeth.
Also should use children's toothpaste esp for it?

At this stage you may simply clean the teeth with a damp piece of cotton after meals and after milk . As the child grows older you can teach him how to spit and brushing teeth by doing it yourself .

Tooth paste should be low fluoride containing one
Toothbrush should be of soft bristles ,oval and cushioned handles
You can demonstrate how to brush and spit if still not able to spit than you can just rinse his mouth twice daily
