There no need to just take the tooth out . Reason for failure might be inappropriate RCT , short obsturation . Or faulty RCT as a whole.
Next Steps
please visit local doctor for atleast radiographs ( x-rays) for the present bone condition

Tooth extraction is last option, but it depends on what case it is?There can be many reasons for ur pain in tooth, may be rct has not been performed well due to which periapical abscess has been developed causing internal resorption of roots of rct performed tooth and also it's adjacent tooth, but let me clear your doubt tooth can be saved by apicoectomy procedure etc,but it can't be said confidently without seeing an X-ray..so kindly visit our clinic,we will try our best to save your tooth..our first aim is to conserve teeth..Thanks for your question.

We should take an X-ray first if the teeth is okay, we can do a Re-root canal.

Mam please visit an endodontist. They are specialized in root canals, if you wish to save your teeth. Get an opinion from them and they would be able to tell you whether retreatment can be planned and you teeth can be saved or not. Hope this helps.
