Ma'am you should visit a dentist he/she can take an X-RAY of the involved tooth and then see if any further decay is there or not if it's present and is reaching the pulp then RCT is done followed by capping
Pain of a previous filled teeth could be due to:
1. Improper filling or fractured filling .
2. Incomplete removal of decay.
3. New decay on same tooth at a different location.

Mam,Sometimes over a period of time the marginal seal in the fillings can get disturbed leading to secondary caries under the old fillings.A Root canal treatment should solve the problem.Consult an Endodontist.
