If already adviced by your dentist then...it is a simple procedure done at any dental Clinic.you may resume your daily routine soon after extraction. Only follow the regular medicine course and maintain oral hygiene as advices by your dentist. Avoid taking hot on the same day. That's it.

pros n cons depends upon the positioning,severity of infection, treatment protocol, prophylaxis of the tooth in question.

Depends on which tooth is it.If it's a third molar then you can go for extraction but if not then preferably Root canal treatment ,that too depends on the extent of damage that has occurred
