The earlier you do the implants or any other form of tooth replacement the better. Bone continues to be lost in absence of function making implants difficult to do as time goes by. Also adjacent teeth move out of position causing bite and other problems.

A good xray will reveal sufficient and good quality bone that has been formed post extraction . This can be checked after 60 to 90 days in most cases
