Tooth extraction - Continuous Pain

Asked for Male, 27 Years

I have extracted wisdom tooth 8-9 days back. Still I have pain in tooth and it come down only when I am on meds. 2 days back doctor removed the stitches and change the medicine from Movex to Diclomol. I have enough pain that I have to take diclomol 3 times in a day. (In a gap of 7-8 hrs). Medicine effect last for only 5 hrs. Is it normal to have such pain ? Is medicine is right? They took almost 2 hrs to remove the tooth. Pain should reduce as per time. Any suggestions.

Was it a surgical extraction? U might not be knowing it . Surgical extractions may take a few more days to heal. Yes, pain reduces with time. U shud do warm saline gargles thrice a day. That will give some relief.

Health Tips

Visit a dentist to get it checked for localised infection. Uhv not mentioned of any antibiotics. did u take any ??
