Tooth decay in upper molar with polyp.
I have undergone a rct of my upper molar teeth.it was having a polyp and it was broken from one side.after rct the pain still persists .i have been two months since the rct was done the pain is not subsiding.doctor have told me to wait and he has not given me any antibiotic.please guide mr.

Pain should not be there in a root canaled tooth specially after 2 months. Although difficult to answer without seeing pre & Post treatment x rays. Kindly check with your dentist if any pulp is remaining behind in any of the canals. Or infection in situ. Or rule out any adjacent tooth decay as well.
