Tooth filling is a good option to stop tooth decay. If the cavity is superficial you may experience sensitivity during the procedure.
If the cavity is deep, an Xray will be taken and then treatment will be given according to the xray findings.

Hello. If the decay is superficial it can be removed and a dental filling can be done. It is the best treatment to prevent further tooth decay. If you delay the treatment, soon you will have pain in that tooth and you will then require a root canal treatment. If filling is superficial you will not have pain. However if the filling is deep you may require a local anaesthesia. Visit a nearby dentist at the earliest and get a check up and x Ray for the concerned tooth. Happy to help. Dr Zankhana Mody Mohile
