Tooth ache and pain near outer ear
I have tooth ache and little pain near outer ear of cold and if tooth infection anything I think .I just delivered a baby so in feeding now for baby can I get suggestions for any medicines safe in breast feeding and helpful for pain

It may be due to wisdom teeth. You can have antibiotics and analgesics.

If you don't have any history of drug allergy, and the pain is not due to any mouth ulcers,and only tooth pain, For the time being, do have these medicines prior to visit dentist, Considering you are breast feeding, the below  mentioned medications which are totally safe for your child as well as you. T. augmentin duo 625, 3 times/day.after food 15 tablets. T. Roles D,once a day, before food,for 4 days T. Parasafe 650, 3 or 4 times a day, other than paracetamol do not use any other painkiller. If difficulty in opening mouth or chewing or swallowing, these are usually associated with  tooth infection. If feverish, that can be as a secondary  infection from tooth. BETADINE mouth wash, Use once in every 2 days, after meal. take 2-3 ml directly in mouth, hold for 3-5 mins and spit out. Do not eat drink or rinse mouth for next half an hour.

gargle forcefully as much as you can after every food intake to keep the area cleaned and avoid to get it infected. do not do hot compression /balm/ointment application extra-orally. avoid very hot/cold/hard/sweet/sticky food soft diet. do not neglect brushing after meal. hold mouthful of Luke warm salt water in for sometime; you can do it for few times a day, if it's relieving your pain, even partially. salt should be avoided is blood pressure is high.

Hii there . How old is ur baby ? Also if it’s more than 3 months u shd lay a visit. It looks like wisdom tooth infection and can be treated with a simple procedure for the time being. You can take Paracetamol 500mg upto 3 times a day . It is safe during lactation.
