Tonsils occuring frequently
I get tonsils frequently after every 20days or on traveling boz of which there is occurence of fever and weakness.have tried using antibiotics like augumentin and also do gargles with betanine d luke warm water.wat should be done to eradicate its occurance again and give a beter regimen to follow.

First if you need to find if the pain is beacuse of the tonsils or just generalised pharyngitis. Also, you need to find out the cause of the recurrent attacks. It could be secondary to sinusitis too. In that case, treatment of sinusitis would prevent these attacks.If there are no signs of sinusitis, and it only a tonsillar infection repeatedly, then you might benefit from tonsillectomy i.e surgical removal of the tonsils.
