The size may or may not reduce gradually. If you have recurrent episodes of tonsillitis or have difficulty breathing while sleeping or difficulty swallowing food then consider getting the tonsils removed

Itâs good to know that your dryness has improved with treatment and regular gargling. ð However, if the tonsils have not completely reduced, it may indicate that mild inflammation or chronic tonsillitis is persisting.
Next Steps
ð¹ Continue maintaining good throat hygiene â warm saline gargles twice daily and adequate hydration. ð¹ Avoid irritants like spicy food, smoking, or very cold drinks. ð¹ If the swelling persists beyond 2â3 weeks or causes discomfort, pain, or recurrent infection, a re-evaluation by an ENT specialist is advisable. Sometimes, further treatment or minor surgical intervention (tonsillectomy) may be recommended, depending on the condition.
