Tonsillitis?
I've had a sore throat for two days now. It's extremely painful to swallow, and I've just noticed white bumps/ ulcers(?) near the tonsils on both sides, but more present on my left. My left ear is also causing pain. Many memebers of my family have had either a cold or the flu recently (undiagnosed, not sure which), I've had oral sex recently though the partner claims no diseases, and I smoke 2-3 cigarettes a day (not since sick). I think I have tonsillitis, but I'm not sure, please advise.

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
