Tonsillitis
I can see tonsils in the throat but on one side only mainly. Trouble swallowing , fever and sore throat also.
Can't visit doctor due to lockdown. Please suggest medication. How to know if it's viral or caused by bacteria.

Since when is your single tonsil enlarged .Are u a smoker or alcoholic . Need to consult to take proper history and also show throat on video calling before making a diagnosis . Also can be infection only . But need to consult if unilateral tonsil enlarged .

To know if it's bacterial or viral we have to take a swab and sent for microbiology...but often it is mixed..coz there will normal bacterial flora in our mouth...
