I am suffering from tonsillitis and having pain in my stomach and in upper chest slightly downwards to the Adams apple is the pain due to tonsillitis what food should I prefer or what diet should I follow and what medicine should I take

Hey hi Dont panic Start gargling and continue for 1 week.. Avoid spicy food. Drink lots of water.. Take paracetamol,500mg twice for 2 days .. If your symptoms didnt come down,associated with fever ,then Needs examination and needs antibiotics.. Take care

Hii, The symptoms  you described now is more suggestive of gastric reflux. Tonsillitis  pain will be more in throat itself, and you will have pain while swallowing.sometimes fever too.

Is it painful while swallowing? Any fever, cough, cold? Any hyperacidity? You probably have acid reflux as well along with throat issues
