Tonsillectomy Pain
I had a tonsillectomy preformed yesterday at 11am. I was prescribed Lidocaine and Hydrocodone and told they would both be beneficial in helping relieve pain. It seems that the Lidocaine is doing nothing but tasting badly for me... and the hydrocodone just makes me super drowsy. The pain is severe and it’s hard to swallow.
I’m a real busy-body so I would love any kinds of pain-relieving alternatives. Are there any secrets to this Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
