I suffered from a chikungunya fever lst january and after it i noticed a white pus in my tonsil and then it developed with a hole. Its already may and i still have it. I always use bactidol to disinfect it but still no progress of healing or whatsoever. Should i ask for an antibiotic?

If there is only a hole and no pus or pain at present then you need not worry. It's just an enlarged crypt. Only thing is that you need to gargle thoroughly after each meal to avoid food particles getting stuck into them and causing infection. If there is pain and discharge you should get it checked and treated. It may be removed if need be there due to size or recurrent infection .

Tonsillar crypts (cavities) are normal with size variations. You must have had a keratotic plug in it which has fallen off, making the crypt visible.
Next Steps
As long as you have no trouble, simply forget it. Regular gargles alter food prevents food particles getting into it.
Health Tips
