We need to be ruling out diabetes and thyroid hormone abnormalities to start with. A dentist alone cannot help and might do good to visit your medical doctor to assess other abnormalities.
Next Steps
Visit your medical doctor and then a dentist with opinion from medical doctor. If the issue is medical a dentist will only refer you to another medical doctor, so you might as well do that first.

What do you mean by tongue is taking the shape of teeth? Are you getting indentations on teeth? If yes then probably you have macroglossia or tongue thrusting habit.but first one needs to examine to come to any diagnosis.
