Toners containing alcohols remove excess oil from the skin and can actually help prevent breakouts for those with acne-prone oily skin.
Toners with glycerin and hyaluronic acid can help hydrate the skin and prevent dryness. Check the label of toner and avoid any toner that contains irritating ingredients, such as citrus, or overly fragrant ingredients, whether they are synthetic or natural.
