Hello, recently I pulled out a nail from the side of my toe which has resulted in infection and redness with some swelling. The pain has subsided after I have soaked in under warm water.
My concern is: I'm feeling a sensation of pus (something like a ball) under my toe during walking which is causing a tingling sensation. What should I do about it? Is drainage mandatory?

Proper evaluation and personalised advice are needed for your concern. A detailed consultation would be best to provide accurate guidance.
Feel free to consult me for further assistance.
Thank you for sharing your concern.
I recommend that you visit your nearest PHC, CHC, government hospital, or a private hospital for a proper clinical evaluation.
If the nail is completely detached, it may need to be removed after examination. If there is pus collection around the nail, an incision and drainage (I&D) procedure may be required. Otherwise, regular wound dressing and an appropriate course of antibiotics should help resolve the nail infection within 7–10 days.
Suggested medications (if clinically appropriate):
Tab. Augmentin 625 mg – One tablet twice daily after meals for 7 days.
Tab. Pantoprazole 40 mg – One tablet once daily, 30 minutes before breakfast.
Tab. Paracetamol 500–650 mg – One tablet every 6–8 hours as needed for fever or pain (do not exceed the recommended daily dose).
If possible, please share a clear photograph of the affected nail. This will help me assess the condition more accurately and guide you further.
