Tmt is negative so should I go for CAG?
My father age 47 he had heart attack a month ago and doctor did so many test related to heart and then he advice me to go home for 15 days with some medicine and come after 15 days we'll go for ANGIOGRAPHY and now he suggest me for tmt test and then he says no need to go for ANGIOGRAPHY so is it safe or not .

Most probably it was not a heart attack it would have been just some atypical chest pain for which your doctor evaluated and treated conservatively on medical management. Because you cannot have a heart attack with a normal TMT moreover your doctor would never advise you to go for a TMT if you have had a heart attack so recently.. so in view of the limited information I have.... i can say that your father does not urgently need an angiography but yes and angiography can be done to confirm whether or not there are any blockages in the heart. Rest if I get to see the reports I can comment further
